• Paper-based

• A Brazilian hardwood from the eucalyptus tree
• This tree is harvested every 14-16 years instead of 50-70 years, which is typical of other hardwoods

• Made from the bark of cork trees that can be harvested every 10 years
• Water-, insect-, and fire-resistant
• Healthier and safer for families due to the anti-bacterial qualities of cork

• Less harmful to humans, especially those with chemical sensitivity
