We discovered early on that it was often difficult to match existing or period millwork, and we began to grow frustrated with the lack of suppliers in this field. Suppliers seemed limited by the need to do large minimum orders, leaving customers with materials far in excess of their actual needs. Worse that that, most suppliers just seemed uninterested in trying to match existing detail as precisely as we wanted them to.
We decided the best solution was to create our own millwork, in-house, to ensure the results we demanded. We can create our own knife profile to match existing architectural details, so we’re afforded a greater range of shapes in a wider variety of wood species. We are able to do short runs of extremely customized shapes to achieve authentic reproductions on every project we undertake.
Ultimately it means we can always successfully work within the architectural vocabulary of an existing structure without ever having to compromise.
To honestly approach each project as an opportunity for growth and learning, and a chance to demonstrate our abilities to serve visionary clients. To maintain financial stability and develop respect and independance, allowing us to pursue the best projects. To pursue rewarding projects by profitably completing current ones beyond owner's expectations.
